My Approach
I am honest and real. There is no sugarcoating. It's not army commander assertiveness, but there's truth and maybe some things you might not want to hear initially, but it's necessary. I care and I care a lot. I am confident in what I do and how I do it. I may let an F-bomb out once in a while. I laugh and joke and, yes, I may occasionally share a tear with you & it is because I care about people getting better from Addiction. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, like struggling with Addiction. It's the disease that is still so misunderstood. It's not about willpower or choice. Addiction takes all power and choice away. It's not about "It can't be that hard to stop", or "why can't you just quit". Addiction is not a light switch; it can’t just be turned off.

- I care with zero judgment - I want to help you get well. Yes, we talk about what happened in the past, but we focus on what you want life to be like today and going forward.
- Safety - Creating a place where people feel comfortable and safe to share.
- Confidentiality - What is said during a session, stays in the session.
- Vulnerability - “Daring greatly means the courage to be vulnerable. It means to show up and be seen. Ask for what you need. Talk about how you’re feeling. To have the hard conversations.” - Brene Brown.
- Compassion - I do not take on your challenges, but I will stand beside you when you are struggling and dance beside you when you succeed.
- Accountability - I hold clients accountable for the goals they set and the commitments they make.
